No. Homeowners insurance covers sudden, accidental damage (storms, fire, pipe bursts). Home Well Warranty covers mechanical and electrical breakdown of your private well system. These are complementary products, not replacements for each other.

What components are covered under a home well warranty?

Coverage may include: well pump (submersible or jet), pressure tank (Standard and Complete plans), pressure switch, control box, and electrical wiring between the well and pressure system. Coverage depends on your plan, inspection results, and plan terms.

Is an inspection really required?

Yes, without exception. All plans require a well inspection by a qualified technician before coverage begins. The inspection confirms your system is functional and identifies any pre-existing conditions.

How much does the plan cost?

Plans start at $29/month for the Basic plan. Standard is $49/month and Complete is $69/month. Annual pricing is also available with savings. A separate service fee applies per covered service request.

Can I enroll if my well is having problems right now?

No. Plans are only available for wells that are currently working without known active issues. If your well is failing right now, you'll need to have it repaired before applying for coverage. Pre-existing conditions are excluded.
